Yes, artists have their favorites too.  One learns to post and show the good, the better, and the not so good, because you never know what someone else might see in your painting.  This one has a lot of 'fluff' and golden light.  And I'm always a fan of some lavender in the spring.

"Signs of Spring"

Spring is not officially here, but there are certain signs of it for sure!  I have been wanting to paint a series of bird nests for a while now.  I have artist friends who have mastered this beautifully who inspire me. Re-Do

These three little paintings are a redo from a year ago.  When my camellias finally started to bloom this year, I just had to go out and pick some.  With the color so vibrant, the older paintings just begged to have a redo.  Isn't it nice to know that we have a chance for a redo also?
